Read them closely
What a useful review actually tells you
A wall of five stars is easy to collect and tells you almost nothing. The reviews worth your time are the specific ones.
Look for the dog, not the adjectives. Which behavior was the problem — pulling, reactivity, jumping, recall? How long did it take before the owner saw a change? Does the review mention what the owner had to learn, or only what the trainer did? A review that names a real problem and a real timeline is worth a dozen that say “great experience.”
Then check whether the same names keep coming up, and whether the trainer answers the critical ones. We'd rather you compared us on that than on a star count.
