Owner / Head Trainer

Hi, I’m the owner at Talking Tails Dog Training. Long Island, NY native and MTSU criminal-justice grad who traded the corporate world for a career in canine training after realizing my unmatched passion for dogs.

I’ve called Murfreesboro home since 1996 and earned my degree in criminal justice from MTSU in 2001. A lifelong athlete and avid CrossFitter, I’ve always had a deep love for animals — something I now share with my amazing daughter.

After years in the corporate world, I followed my passion and made the leap into professional dog training. I trained under several experienced professionals and attended a school dedicated to canine instruction before opening Talking Tails.

With a background working with everything from protection dogs to family pets, I’ve developed a true passion for helping dogs become well-behaved, confident companions. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a family thrive with a happy, obedient dog.

Hey there, I handle sales at Talking Tails Dog Training. I grew up on my family’s farm in Pall Mall, TN, earned my Horticulture degree from MTSU, and joined Talking Tails to keep making people (and their pups) smile.

Growing up on a farm in Pall Mall meant animals were never a hobby — they were the day. That’s where I learned patience, consistency and how much easier life gets when an animal understands what you’re asking.

These days I’m the one who walks you through your options, answers the “is this really going to work for my dog?” questions honestly, and makes sure the program you choose actually fits your family and your budget.

I was also featured on Good Morning Murfreesboro, where I got to share our approach and how we help build strong, confident relationships between dogs and their owners.

Mabuhay! I’m the Office Manager at Talking Tails Dog Training. Originally from the Philippines with a Marketing degree, I’m usually the first person you’ll speak with when you call.

I keep the schedule straight, the paperwork painless and the phone answered — so when you call about your dog, you get a real person who can actually help.

My marketing background means I spend a lot of time on the other side of the conversation: making sure owners know what to expect before, during and after training, and that nobody is left guessing about next steps.

“Talking Tails is amazing. I have a 5 year old German Shepherd that has had years of training but we have always had the same issues. I didn’t know how to get her to do some things and how to stop her from doing things. She has gone to 3 classes and she is like a totally different dog. She is happier because she has the guidance that she needs from me and I didn’t know how to do that before. We can now go on walks in our neighborhood without fear that another dog is going to get too close and I won’t be able to control her. I stopped bringing her with me because of this and now she goes with me everywhere again. We are both loving our time together again. Thank you Teddy.”
